NerdDIY stworzył łatwą do drukowania “wstawkę”, aby umożliwić każdemu łatwe tworzenie własnej ramki E-Ink. Jego ekran został zainspirowany projektem pogody Madeleny.
W projekcie użyta została ramka Ikea Ribba 5″x7″, zamiennikiem w Polsce jest ramka IKEA RÖDALM, czarny, 13x18 cm.

I would be careful with the RÖDALM replacement, as they have a bit of different measurements than the RIBBA.

I am not actually sure about the inner size, but the outer size is actually different a bit. I’ve just fitted recently a RÖDALM next to a RIBBA and it was clearly visible in the arrangement that they are different, like a half centimeter on each size. My wife was fitting the photos inside so I wasn’t focusing on that side of the things. My task was only drilling the holes.
But afterward I read about it, that the RÖDALM is not a replacement of the RIBBA but the HOVSTA, a previous model.
