Kupiłem zmywarkę, piekarnik, pralkę z Samsunga bo myślałem, że bez problemu zintegruję to z HA.
A tu zonk.
It suggest to use a SmartApp, which has been phased out from SmartThings years ago.
@StiVeN_PL, I did not set up the SmartThings integration in HA, but I used SmartThings for a while before HA. All the Samsung products are a pain in the butt. They are all cloud connected and rely on Samsung’s cloud systems. They were always over complicated, because Samsung merged dozens of different platforms and applications into the SmartThings app and brand. There were and are a lot of teething problems between these platforms and SmartThings, the API provided data might not match with app, etc. Even if you would have a Hub you would be not closer to succeed with your problem.
I have a question for you! Do you want to operate any of these devices from HA or do you want to fetch their status only? If getting the status every minutes is good enough for you, then you can use REST calls towards the SmartThings API, and you don’t have to expose HA to the internet.
Here are some examples:
Otherwise I set up the SmartThings integration just recently, and it is a pain. The exposed entities are just random, and useless.
I have a washer, a fridge and a vacuum. The result is just disappointing…
And the best part, the SmartThings integration/library is not maintained currently…
